Wet Forming Process
Wet-process forming is a core and fundamental step in TONLI's specialty paper production, encompassing the entire process from pulping, flow, wire forming, pressing, and drying. It employs a high-quality softwood long-fiber pulp and recycled fiber blending system and, through precise concentration control and headbox uniformity optimization, ensures that the fibers are uniformly interwoven and formed on the wire
Surface Finishing & Embossing
TONLI’s premium deep-processing capabilities cover a full range of surface treatments: embossing, velvet, leather-grain, and soft-touch finishes.
With self-developed embossing patterns, proprietary formulas, and imported calendering equipment, we create finely detailed, layered textures through precise temperature and pressure control. Our efficient, high-precision processes integrate seamlessly with dyeing and coating, delivering custom texture upgrades for premium packaging.
Wet Coating Process
The wet coating process is the core process for C2S-coated paper. It involves coating the base paper surface with environmentally friendly water-based paint, followed by drying and calendering to improve the paper's printability and surface texture. Utilizing high-speed coating equipment, it achieves uniform coating, accurate color reproduction, low VOCs, and environmentally controllable properties, making it suitable for printing-grade art paper, book covers, and other applications.
Dry Modification Process
TONLI’s Dry Modification Process operates in a Class 10,000 cleanroom, using electrostatic spraying and vacuum deposition to create functional coatings with anti-static, moisture-resistant, sulfur-free, and halogen-free performance—ideal for the semiconductor industry’s strict standards.
We also pioneer forward-looking solutions like recycled fiber dry forming: using 30%–100% recycled fibers cuts water use and carbon footprint while preserving excellent stiffness and printability, balancing environmental benefits with commercial value.
